Publisher's summary

It's been years since the Gray Man's first mission, but the trouble's just getting started in the latest entry in the number one New York Times best-selling series.

Before he was the Gray Man, Court Gentry was Sierra Six, the junior member of a CIA action team.

In their first mission, they took out a terrorist leader, at a terrible price. Years have passed. The Gray Man is on a simple mission when he sees a ghost: the long-dead terrorist, but he's remarkably energetic for a dead man.

A decade of time hasn't changed the Gray Man. He isn't one to leave a job unfinished or a blood debt unpaid.

WOW!!! PERFECTION!!!!

Seriously, this latest installment to the Gray Man series is just brilliant. Every time Mark Greaney comes out with a new novel I try not to get my hopes up but inevitably I do. Fortunately for me I am always rewarded with a captivating story that takes hold at the start and doesn’t let go until the end…. And even then it stays with you. I don’t know about anyone else but I generally listen to the Gray Man books more than once.
This book takes place in two time lines. The present and 12 years in the past. Both center around the hunt for a particularly heinous terrorist. 12 years ago it was thought by the CIA that he had been killed. Present day finds Court coming face to face with him while on another job.
This book action packed and moves along at a fast pace. If you get distracted for even a moment you must rewind or you might miss something.
Jay Snyder is one my favorite narrators. His performance is flawless.
This book has my VERY HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION.

Requires more suspension of disbelief than usual

The one just got a little wild towards the end. Predictable in other parts for sure. Not a bad read, just not as tight as I’d hoped.

Fantastic story! Mark Greaney’s Gray Man series eleventh book weaves…

Fantastic story! Mark Greaney’s Gray Man series eleventh book weaves realistic today concerns with Gray Man history making this the best book in the series, so far!
Just finished for the second time as the details are always too good not to go back a second or third time!
My only complaint is that we don’t have a release date for GrayMan number twelve.

Best of all spy novels…

I’ve listened to all the Mitch Rapp, Evan Smoak and Court Gentry books. This was the best of all of them so far. Fantastic story, fantastic reader, and always interesting all the way through. Can’t say enough good about it. Court Gentry is top of the game now… time for Rapp and Smoak to step up….

Gray Man IS the Man!

Love these series! Gotta love the Violator! Please, don’t ever change narrators. Jay has become Gentry to me!

Great addition

This book was a good continuance of the Gray Man series with a little more history into the making of Gentry.

This was my first book from this author

There was never a dull moment in this book. Lots of action and the character development was excellent. The narrator was terrific too. I have just purchased two more of Greaney’s books.
